
When zinfandel meets rainbow sugar
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup (c) wine
- 1/8 cup (c) sugar
- 1 tablespoon (tbsp) plain gelatin
- 1 splash lemon juice
- 1 piece gummy bear mold (1 ml each)
Instructions
Combine wine and sugar in saucepan at low heat. Did not exceed 190F to avoid evaporating the alcohol.
Remove from heat.
Once the sugar is dissolved, stir in splash of lemon juice.
Next, add the gelatin, whisk as needed to dissolve.
Fill into molds using dropper (recipe produces about 130 gummy bears).
Chill in fridge.
They will be set in about 10 minutes.
